Stefan Chandler is the voice and hands reaching into your psyche. His music is an honest look at the world holding accountable those who disturb its natural order and reflects on paths crossed with others.
Stefan picked up his first stringed instrument, a violin, at the age of four and began taking lessons from a nun. Growing up he has learned to play several other instruments including the tenor sax and cello. At sixteen Stefan got his first guitar--a 1983 Gibson Challenger. At that point a world of new music was revealed to him, and in 2001 he moved to southern California to expand his influences further at Musician's Institute in Hollywood.
Having moved back since then to the midwest with a fresh perspective, Stefan Chandler cites his overall influences to include Scorpions, Tom Petty, Neil Young, a lot of classic rock, Jeff White, Nada Surf, and Seven Mary Three.
Stefan Chandler now performs original music around southern Wisconsin. He also plays electric and acoustic guitar for Guppy Effect.
